My Sony PS LX47P Turntable has a wierd non-standard power adapter plug. Is there a power apapter for this?

I believe this is designed to hook up to a stereo system but there should be another way to simply power the unit separately. If there isn’t a standard adapter plug how would I find out what power requirements it needs?

I understand from a discussion group that the unit runs on 12 vdc. The top pin is negative, the bottom positive.

You might want to look around Sony’s Web site for a manual to confirm this.
