I’ve just got myself a PA System for my Mobile dj’ing

is there any difference in quality between the sockets because my PA Amp supports, XLR, Speakon & Binding posts (wires)

and what’s the norm that people use

The XLR connectors are for the inputs of the amp.

Use the speakon connectors for the speaker connections. You can buy speakon to speakon if your speakers have that connector OR you can buy speakon to 1/4 inch if your speakers have that.
