I used an Svideo cable to connect my Vid Card to My TV… HELP!?
I used an Svideo cable to connect my PC’s video card to my TV. The resolution is fine, but I’m not getting any color to my TV. I’m trying to watch streaming videos from the net on my TV, but they all look like reruns of Green Acres because I have NO color!
I’ve tried visiting websites and I’ve changed every display setting that I know of, but I’m still stuck in TV land.
Is there a setting that I missed, does anyone know something I don’t know?

Try a different S cable. S carries luminence (black and white) seperately from chromanance (color) information. Sounds like a wire may be broken inside your S cable, or an end might be bent or broken. Check to be sure there are 4 pins on each end of the cable and that none of them are bent. If one of the pins is bent/broken and it is on the chroma side, you will see black and white only.
