Can you really understand right from wrong without logic?

Without logic, isn’t morality just a simple case of allegiance and blind belief?
Koko- yes but what is your guilty feeling based on? Blind belief in something? Emotional allegiance to something? Or logical reasoning about consequences? Guilt only comes, it seems to me, when one of these things leads you to feel like something bad is going on that someone is responsible for. But which of these is the best, if you think about it?

Logic can be flawed, true, but so can belief and allegiance, if you believe in something false, for example, or have allegiance to a higher cause that is, in the larger scheme of things, a destructive force in the world.

Absolutely. Guilty feelings are not a sign of logic but from feeling the difference between right and wrong. In fact as human beings we could feel a lot more if we would just allow ourselves to do so and recognize it when it happens.
