wireless internet wont work from 150 feet away?
ok i have a desktop with an n wireless receiver and a laptop with a g and the laptop gets internet great but the desktop doesnt even show a connection sometimes it will pop up up but its really really low signal and the laptop has a good signal desktop vista laptop ubuntu is there any way to tweak the desktop to work
you can upgrade the antenna of the wireless card, but I have found that placing the router high in the air (even in an attic) will help the signal. A last option for long distance is to use a parabolic reflector (satellite dish type antenna) and point it toward the router.
