Could I use a modem to connect my Xbox 360 to Xbox live into a seperate phone jack then the computer’s?
My computer is upstairs, but my TV and Xbox is in the basement. There is a phone jack down there where I could insert a modem and I don’t want to buy a wireless router because of the price, so will a modem hooked up to the basement’s phone jack work for Xbox Live? And will it interupt my internet connection on my computer?
yes and yes. but if you have a router you can just buy an ethernet cable and run it to the basement
