dry thick patch of skin where sporadic hairs grow on my jaw line?
This patch of thick skin wont seem to go away. It flares up and then starts to heal but it flares up again. How do I treat this skin and try to get rid of the thick scar tissue that seems to be left behind?
Sounds like a spot of Dermatitis (possibly seborric?) that is getting aggravated by the hair.
Go to the dermatologist to be certain. It could just be an ingrown hair? Are you rubbing it?

The variable impedance control is infinitely variable allowing much finer control and the ability to tune the preamp to the microphone’s ideal sweet spot. SELECTABLE TUBE PLATE VOLTAGEThe selectable tube voltage functions delivers either high plate voltage to the tube ensuring maximum output with extremely low noise and distortion, or lower the plate voltage to increase more tube character and warmth to the signal. COMPREHENSIVE DYNAMIC CONTROL & EQThe VoiceChannel delivers full dynamic control from the integrated fully variable Compressor / De-Esser / Expander section. Unlike most channel strip processors in this class, every function of the VoiceChannel’s dynamics control is easily tunable from the front panel. Complete control of compressor’s threshold, ratio, attack and release as well as de-esser frequency & level and expander / gate threshold are fully variable from smooth high quality low noise pots. The VoiceChannel’s semi-parametric EQ offers wide tune-ability and tone control, and for added versatility the EQ can be patched before OR after the dynamics processor with a simple on-button touch on the front panel – no re-patching required. Separate insert jacks on the back panel allow you quick quiet in-line connectivity to external signal processing gear immediately after the Mic preamp (before the EQ and dynamics processor) in the signal path. Another insert patch point exists just before the A/D converters. DIGITAL CONNECTIVITY AND USB OUTPUTThe ART VoiceChannel can directly connect to virtually any recording platform, analog or digital console making it one of the most versatile input strips in your audio toolkit. Our DSP engineers have been working hard, crafting and refining beautiful reverb algorithms. The effects are available nowhere else – this quality and integration is only available from the ZED FX. 16 essential time-delay effects add to the already bulging feature set. The mixer is ideal for small groups who don’t want to carry around an effects unit with their gear but who still want great quality FX at their gigs and on their recordings. ZED FX are easily controlled using 3 buttons and 9 LEDs. Quickly tap the ideal delay time or ‘dial-in’ the per fect amount of reverb on the lead vocal. One-stop navigation and editing? In fact, just as easy as your effects pedals.
