How to wrap a gift with one piece of tape?

My friend said she found a website that explained the proper way to wrap gifts. She said the Chinese have a way to wrap something with one piece of tape and you start at an angle. I can’t find the website she is talking about. Does anyone know what I’m talking about?

I found this site……….it shows how to wrap a gift with fabric and you don’t need any tape at all. I think it says it’s a Japanese method.
