Can you use iPhone headphones on a PC?
I want to use my iPhone headphones–that’s stereo headphones and the mic–on my PC for gaming (Ventrilo, etc.).
I’ve purchased a splitter and an adaptor to complete the physical connection, like so:
iPhone headphones (3.5mm) > 3.5mm to 2.5mm adaptor* > 2.5mm to PC headphone and mic splitter
Seems like it should all be working, but I’m only getting sound in one ear and no mic function at all. What am I doing wrong?
*Reason for the adaptor is that the splitter was available only in the 2.5mm size.
I’m not positive but considering the different adpaters you have ETC. You might have to change the sound settings in control panel, to fit accordingly..
