95 civic, where to jack it up?
okay so i feel like i dont know where to jack up my car, when i did it before i feel like its in the wrong spot and that im bending the chassis, i feel for this like O shaped thing and i figured thats where it goes cause it fits the jack perfectly with the disk, so is that right?
There are pinch folds just inside of each wheel. This is the best place to jack it up. Consult your owner’s manual if you are still unsure.
If you wanna lift the whole front end and have a hydraulic jack(not the one that came with your car), you can lift it by the subframe, NOT the oil pan.

ARTcessories Xdirect Professional Active Direct Box $40 “The Xdirect is a high quality interface that lets you connect instrument, line, or speaker level signals to a mixer or other balanced input. The high impedance single-ended 1/4″” and XLR inputs are buffered and converted, by very low noise active electronics, into an isolated balanced low impedance signal source. The Xdirect has an extremely flat and wide frequency response and can handle high signal levels while still maintaining an isolated balanced low impedance output. This gives the Xdirect a very clean and neutral sound with a wide variety of signal sources and over long signal runs in high noise environments.The Input Attenuator switches allow for a wide range of signal levels and the Input Link jack allows for tapping off of your signal chain. The Ground Lift switch lets you totally separate the input and output signal grounds, when appropriate, to isolate two systems, thereby reducing hum and ground-loop noise. What further sets the Xdirect apart from other “”Active DI”" boxes are its extended features and versatility. We have added a switchable low pass Filter that cuts out all very high frequency interference. Phantom power, phase reverse and a 75Hz, 18dB/octave high-pass filter are also available from the angled front fascia. Independent input metering for both channels is provided in the form of a moving coil VU meter with variable calibration to suit analogue and digital recording media, alongside two six-LED peak meters; inputs can be metered either pre- or post-insert. The meter calibrations utilise all the same reference points as Digidesign’s Pro Tools HD system, allowing effortless line-up.
