A red itchy patch of skin on my face overnight that looks like a burn?

I woke up with a little red patch on my cheek that itched slightly. The next day it was bigger, but still only slightly itchy. It’s raised a little bit, almost like a fresh burn. Any ideas what this might be? I have no history of psoriasis (sp?) or other skin conditions…..

I hope it was just a bug bite.
If it’s still there you should see a dermatologist.

I was recently diagnosed w/ skin cancer, SCC/ Bowen’s disease and the spot I have sounds very similar to your description.
